These are twenty of my personal favorites at this time, and in no particular order. It's always difficult to pick out my all-time favorite images. More often than not it's the emotion I feel for a certain area that is just as important as the image itself.

Oneonta Gorge Entrance is a deep, narrow cleft in the basalt bluff through which flows a foaming creek. Fossilized trees caught by a lava flow, are entombed in its perpendicular walls. My wife and I camped at a nearby campground to get up early, hoping the quality of the early morning light would be perfect, as it quickly fades away. This image required some wading in cold water and climbing over a few logs. I had my shorts and tennis shoes on, wondering if this opportunity was going to be worth freezing my feet off. I reached a good perspective with the canyon walls almost touching. I shot a few frames and got back to the van as fast as I could. After we returned to our van, my cup of coffee never tasted so good!
